A Breath of Spring: Inside Sarah & Dylan’s Engagement Party at Lakes at Lacey

When Sarah & Dylan began planning their wedding journey, they knew one thing for sure: they wanted to kick it off with an engagement party that felt thoughtful, elegant, and celebratory—but without doing too much too soon.

With their wedding planned out of the country, this local event served as a special opportunity to gather with loved ones and mark the occasion in a meaningful way. The goal? To celebrate big, while still pacing the energy (and the budget) for the events to come.

Bringing the Outdoors In

Held just as spring was beginning to bloom, this party leaned into the season with tall cherry blossom installations, soft cream and white tones, and all the natural light thanks to a floor-to-ceiling window venue. The design was tone-on-tone neutral, intentional, refined, and deeply romantic.

Instead of a stage, the couple opted for a beautifully styled sweetheart table. This simple decision brought the focus to the couple while keeping the design airy and open. With soft linens, candlelight, and floral runners, the entire event felt like a gentle nod to what’s to come, without revealing the full story just yet.

Thoughtful Pacing, Beautiful Results
